“Le Ginestre” holiday farm is located on the hills only a few kilometres from Capodimonte. It faces Monte Bisenzio and the valley below, which gently slopes towards the Lake Bolsena basin. This area is rich in Etruscan finds. From the farm one can admire the beauty of the Lake, its two islands and the little village of Capodimonte. The latter is set on a volcanic crag extending into Lake Bolsena, and is considered “pearl of the Lake” for its beauty. Our guests will receive a warm welcome and enjoy a pleasant stay.
In our family run farm, immersed in the green Tuscia countryside, wheat, barley, greens, walnuts and olives are grown.
In November we handpick the fruits from our olive grove (ca. 300 plants of “leccino”, “pendolino” and “maurino”) and carefully take them to the traditional olive press. Here the olives are coldly pressed as in the olden days to obtain an excellent extra-virgin olive oil.
The long driveway is adorned with walnut trees. In October the walnuts are picked, cleaned and sun-dried. You can enjoy these fruits at our restaurant together with typical cheeses or in the traditional Christmas pudding “maccheroni con le noci” (macaroni  with walnuts and chocolate).
“Le Ginestre” is a beautiful complex built within an olive grove. It includes six flats and eight bedrooms all elegantly furnished. From a big lounge guests can enter the dining room and enjoy typical genuine foods.
Immersed in the green is a Jacuzzi pool for guests only.
